GD1: Basic Photoshop How-To's

Set document size and resolution - file>new, alter width/height and resolution (at least 300 for printing)

See entire document - drag lower right corner down and to right until you see gray space

Create a new layer  - layer>new>layer or window>layers and click on new layer icon (right next to little trash can)

Add text - click T type tool, click on page and type

Background color - window>layers, outline page with rectangle tool, double click color in layers panel and choose color  * be sure this layer is the furthest back*

Font style, size, color - window>character

Alter type - edit>transform (same as holding down keyboard command and t)  this will let you stretch and spin, use mouse to edit>transform to be able to reflect, warp, etc.
